Travel Insurance

It is our policy that all clients travelling with us are adequately insured. We have therefore selected what we consider to be a comprehensive insurance package at a competitive rate. The cost of insurance will automatically be added to the holiday price for all clients booking a Cyprus Direct Holiday unless the client specifies otherwise. In this case please state clearly on the booking form that you do not require our insurance including details of your Insurer and policy number.

Travel Insurance Premiums

Your insurance premium should be forwarded to us with your holiday deposit in order to ensure you are protected for the cancellation section, which will be effective from the date of our confirmation invoice.

Please note that there is a 14 day 'cooling off period which allows you to return the policy and obtain a full refund if you have justifiable reason to be dissatisfied with the cover provided. After this period please note there will be no refund.

24 Hour Worldwide Emergency Assistance

In the event of requiring Emergency Medical Assistance, one telephone call will put you in touch with Mercury Assistance Centre. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The telephone number will be shown on your Certificate of Insurance.

Commencement of Cover

The cancellation section applies upon receipt of your premium. The other relevant section takes effect on commencement of the outward date of travel.

A policy document outlining all the above, in more detail, will be sent to you with your insurance validation certificate. It will also contain information of claims procedures and contact details.

It is a condition that all material facts concerning this insurance, especially those in relation to your state of health must be disclosed to the insurers. Please read the policy for any exclusions.
